Hijrat is a 2016 Pakistani romantic film directed by Farouq Mengal and produced under the banner of FM Productions. The film features Asad Zaman and Rabia Butt in lead roles.[1] The film story revolves around the people affected by Afghan War. It also shows that Love has no boarders and religion. Humanity is superior to all and the same needs to be respected.
The film will be distributed by Hum Films and Eveready Pictures on April 22, 2016 in cinemas across Pakistan.[2] Film has made it to Cinemas across Pakistan on 22 April 2016. Its premier held at The Place, Nuplex Cinema, Karachi, Pakistan.

Filming
The film has shot its first spell in Quetta, shooting continued in Europe in spring of 2014 (Istanbul, Turkey[3]). The film-making equipment has been imported from India.[4] Farouq Mengal used all his mastery and filmed some of the best shots never practiced in Pakistani Films. Exotic locations of Quetta, Nashukai and Istanbul can be seen. Hijrat is filmed on 35 mm Camera and equipment has shown its class.
Music
The music has been composed by Sahir Ali Bagga and film will include songs by Ali Azmat, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Imran Aziz and Abida Parveen.[5]
