The Saõ Tomé leaf-nosed bat (Hipposideros thomensis) is a species of bat in the family Hipposideridae.[2] It is endemic to São Tomé and Príncipe. The bat's natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and caves. It was formerly considered part of H. commersoni, which is now viewed as being restricted to Madagascar.[1][2]
