Hof bei Salzburg is a municipality in the district of Salzburg-Umgebung in the state of Salzburg in Austria.
Geography
Hof bei Salzburg is located on the banks of the Fuschlsee and is surrounded by the Salzkammergut mountains. The town is on the Austrian motorway A1.
Tourism
This is an upcoming tourist town in the Salzburg region. It is a 15 km or a 30-minute drive from the city of Salzburg. Hof bei Salzburg is famous for its Luxury hotels Schloss Fuschl which was previously a castle and Hotel Jagdhof. The tourist season starts here from June until September. This region experiences heavy snowfall in the winter months from December until March.
Tourists can explore many activities such as fishing, boating, and swimming, bicycle rental on the Fuschlsee. Hof bei Salburg is also famous for its spa.
