History
ICEFLO was initially created in 2006 from the experiences of CEO Andy Smith [3] in direct response to the challenges faced by Associates and clients when managing deployment change. As stated on their website, ICEFLO is a DevOps tool, which enables users to dispense with spreadsheets and adopt a Deployment Management solution and is supported by a network of offices in Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders, London, Amsterdam and Dubai. [4]
The expansion of ICEFLO saw Agenor Technology recently named as the fastest-growing technology business in Scotland over the last five years by accountancy major Deloitte. [5]
ICEFLO is named in The Ultimate DevOps Tool Chest, as a Deployment tool, [6] and listed in The Complete DevOps Glossary, [7] both published by XebiaLabs.
Users
According to their website, ICEFLO has been adopted by a number of large enterprises, particularly in the financial sector, including: Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Baillie Gifford. [8]
