The Indian Institute of Information Technology , Kurnool (IIIT Kurnool) is a technical education institute in the field of Information Technology established by MHRD, Government of India in 2015. The institute started functioning in a temporary campus of IIITDM Kancheepuram in Chennai. IIITDM Kurnool offers two B.Tech courses namely Computer Science and Electronics & Communication Engineering with 25 seats in each branch.[1] IIITDM Kancheepuram will mentor this institute and classes will start at its campus in Chennai until the permanent campus is built at Kurnool.[2]

Campus & Location

IIIT Kurnool initially would function out from campus of IIITDM Kancheepuram, while the permanent campus would come up on 124-acre at Kurnool. The state government already earmarked the land for permanent campus and construction works will start soon.

Admission to the undergraduate programmes is based on All India Rank (AIR) in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
