iTunes Live from Las Vegas at the Palms is the first live album from American pop punk band Yellowcard, released January 22, 2008, and the final Yellowcard album to be released through Capitol Records. It is an iTunes exclusive album. The album was recorded in October 2007, while Yellowcard were on the Blue October tour, at the Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Concert Theater.[1] Live from Las Vegas at the Palms was the last official Yellowcard album until the band announced their reformation. Bass player Peter Mosely left the band in 2007 before the album was recorded. Current bassist, Josh Portman, was filling in at the time and is featured on the recording.

History

The album was announced on January 15, 2008 via the band's official website, MySpace page, and Message Boards. The same day the album cover was released on iTunes along with the album, though it was not available to buy. Those who bought the album within the first week of release were able to buy tickets for Yellowcard's upcoming spring tour before the tickets were released to the general public on February 2.

Within the first two days of release, the album peaked at #6 on the Top Albums Chart in the US store. It peaked at #2 in the Alternative section along with promotion and advertisements headlining the iTunes Store.
