Music video
"I Love You Goodbye" has two music videos; One which is part of the Nina Live! recording sessions, that features only Nina and the lead guitarist of The Essence. The other video is not a live performance, and it was the one that was released to music channels for promotion.
The official video was shot in a bus stop. Nina is seen wearing pink dress and a light pink bolero. She portrays a girl waiting at the bus stop for her boyfriend to tell him that she wants to break up with him. While waiting, she sees couples who are very sweet with each other. At the final scene, her boyfriend finally arrived smiling at her. However, she returned the ring that her love interest gave her, because even if she loves him, she had to leave him for the good. As the video fades, Nina is shown sitting on a chair at the bus stop.[6]
Other covers
In December 2009, Filipino acoustic singer Juris covered the song and it was used as theme song for the film of the same name.
