Ina Wroldsen (born 28 May 1984) is a Norwegian singer/songwriter. She is half of the electropop duo Ask Embla, with fellow Icelandic producer and songwriter Arnthor Birgisson. Wroldsen lives in London.[2]

Career

Wroldsen began writing songs for American artists to branch out of Norway and reach larger markets.[3] She usually begins writing songs that start from a word or phrase, then she adds the melody and how the verses and chorus will feel.[4] Wroldsen formed a band called Ask Embla in the summer of 2011.[4] Her manager is Mark Ellwood.[4] She released the solo singles, "Aliens" and "Rebels" in 2014 and 2015 respectively.[5] In 2015 she wrote the song "How Deep Is Your Love" by Calvin Harris and Disciples, in addition to providing uncredited vocals on it.[6]

Since 2013, the publishing interest of Ina Wroldsen’s catalog has been represented by Reverb Music/Reservoir Media Management.[7]
