Indira Gandhi Stadium is located in Purnia, in the Indian state of Bihar. The stadium is named after Indira Gandhi, the fourth prime minister of India. It should not be confused with other venues in India named after Indira Gandhi. The venue has a capacity of 20,000 and most of the places are standing places. A small part of the stadium is covered with a roof. It is used for several events, but mainly for cricket matches. The stadium became one of the largest sports venues by capacity in Bihar.
