Intipucá is a municipality in the La Unión department of El Salvador.
Etymology
Intipucá is a cognate of Intibucá of neighboring Honduras, an alternate spelling of the same term in Lenca language. However, due to historical savagery, indigenous are not recognized nor self-identify in El Salvador.[1]
