Ismail Tara (Urdu: اسماعیل تارا) is a Pakistani actor and comedian.[1] He has worked in many stage plays, television and Lollywood films. He is five times Nigar Awards winner for best comedian in Haathi Mere Saathi, Aakhri Mujra, Munda Bigra Jaye, Chief Sahib and Deewarein. He is well known for his best work in Fifty Fifty aired on PTV.[2]

Career

Tara is working in the film and television industry from 1980s.[3] He also has worked in stage plays and dramas.[4] He wrote some scripts of the show Fifty Fifty along with Majid Jehangir.[5]
