Itari Parsahi is a village development committee in Siraha District in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3302 people living in 664 individual households. Itari parsahi is village where lots of mandal's (dhanuka) people lives and there are few maithil bharmin ,mahapatra bharmin ,muslim and mushar. In this village there is holy temple of lord Shiva called parasnath mahadev, this was dug down about 35years ago before that there was small hut which was being worship. While digging villager found half countructed building having 5 ft. four pillar, stone lader, and philosopher's stone 'paras pathar' (पारस/पारसमणि). Later on villager completed building taking help that pillar. After some years king Birendra bir bikram shah visted that temple .After some month of king's vist that paras pathar was stolen still , it is unknown who has stolen it. In this village there are many pounds. In some pound there are many well inside it. People think that that type pound had constructed by monstar many years ago.

In economic view villagers are very poor . Farming is main occupation. Mostly house of this village is made-up mude and straw. There is only one school which upto primary level. Ghurmi and kamala rivers are two sides boundary of this village.
