Jürgen Hartmann (born 27 October 1962 in Lahr) is a German football coach and retired midfielder who played during the 1980s and 1990s.[1] He is currently the head coach of Stuttgarter Kickers II.

Career

Hartmann began his professional career at VfB Stuttgart in 1985 and went on to play over 150 matches for the club before he left to join Hamburger SV in 1991. He played for Hamburger for six years, making almost 200 appearances. In 1997, he signed for Switzerland's FC Basel and he retired in 1998.

In August 2007, he became assistant manager to Guido Buchwald at Alemannia Aachen. He then became the manager of SG Sonnenhof Großaspach in 2009.
