Jackson Mendy (born 25 May 1987 in Mont-Saint-Aignan) is a French-born Senegalese footballer who currently plays for Levadiakos as a defender.
Career
Club
Mendy played for SC Freiburg until July 2010.[1] He then had a trial at English Championship team Middlesbrough.
In August 2010, Mendy signed with French side Grenoble Foot 38.
On 31 July 2011, he signed a one-year contract with Ligue 1 side AC Ajaccio, following his team Grenoble being relegated from Ligue 2 during the 2010–11 season.
On 6 January 2012, he signed a two-year contract with Levadiakos F.C. of Superleague Greece.
International career
On 11 May 2010, he earned his first call-up for the Senegal national football team for a friendly match against Denmark on 27 May 2010.
