Lucas Favalli (born 16 July 1985 in Córdoba) is an Italian Argentine football midfielder who plays for Levadiakos.
Favalli started his career at 3rd division (Interior) side Racing de Córdoba. He later joined Talleres de Córdoba in the Primera Division Argentina in 2002. In 2006 Favalli was spotted by scouts from Apollon Kalamarias, and signed by the club during the summer 2006 transfer window. [1] From 2006 till 2013 he played for various Greek clubs both for Greek Super League and Football League. His last club was Panetolikos, playing for Football League where he signed a year contract. [2]
On 21 June 2013, after seven years in Greece Favalli signed a year contract with Argentinian Primera B Nacional club Instituto de Córdoba for an undisclosed fee. He had an outstanding season, completing 36 games and scoring 9 goals. "Frank Darío Kudelka is a coach who will favor of my football characteristics, and he likes attacking football in which I feel most comfortable. It is an advantage that he already knows me and he will not have the need to talk about what he needs from me on the pitch."[3] As a result of his excellent performance, he signed with Huracán, helping the club to promote in Argentinian Primera Division after the play-offs.
On 26 August 2015, Favalli signed a two years' contract with his ex-Greek Super League club Levadiakos for an undisclosed fee. [4] [5] On 21 January 2016, he signed a six months' contract with Super League rivals AEL Kalloni on loan from Levadiakos. [6] Two days later in his debut against Panthrakikos with a header opened the score in a 2-0 home win relegation battle. [7]
