Career

In June 2014 she was cast in The Singleton directed by award winning director Paul J. Lane. Duffield plays Karma Blake who suffers from Agoraphobia and is married to a psychiatrist. Due to her fear of social embarrassment this leads Karma to have panic attacks when in public.[6] Starring Mario Babic, Karen Fairfax, Paul J. Lane and Shane Hart. The Singleton will premiere at The Watergate Film Festival London 2015. Later that year, Duffield landed the role of MI6 Samantha Moneymore in the feature movie The Levellers, starring Brian Croucher. The Levellers is inspired and influenced by some of the Great British characters from various films including The Equalizer, The Avengers and The Saint.[7]

By October 2014 Duffield started filming her fifth movie as Ann Boulevard in feature film 1603 written by Danny Darren, which also marked Duffield’s first time as a casting director on a movie. 1603 is about an Asylum seeker Aryan who starts to integrate himself in to the film industry, not all is what it seems as a filmed action scene goes horribly wrong when it is attacked by terrorists. Duffield’s character Ann witnesses the terrorist attack and calls the police, later that day Ann is interviewed and devastated at the loss of her friends.[8]

Duffield was attached in 2015 to the role of Maggie Delin in the film Londinium. It took Duffield five months to prepare for the character of Maggie as she knew the director and writer Paul J. Lane had auditioned thousands of Maggie applicants and was looking for something authentic. Duffield will be seen playing Maggie as a stroke victim in the movie Londinium which is based on the second coming of christ but set in modern day society. Londinium (The Beginning) will be made first as a short film being entered into The Watergate Film Festival and then continued to be made into a feature film for 2016 which stars Brian Croucher, Tony Fadil, Rodrigo Rodrigues and Cheryl Neve.[9]

In 2016, Duffield appeared in the action adventure The Huntsman: Winter's War, starring Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain.[10]

Duffield has recently been featured in the Award winning Short film Twisted, with award winning director Paul J. Lane. Duffield picked up two awards for Best Actress voted by festivals filmmakers’ choice and film festival goer’s choice for her performance as the possessed and hospitalised patient Libby.[11] Duffield also won best script for Twisted again with Paul J. Lane as Co-writers at The Watergate Film Festival 2015.[12]

July 2015 Duffield won best supporting Actress for the short film The Cure alongside award winning actor Raymond Seager.[13] Her stylish performance as an American Senior Nurse from the 1943 Manhattan Project giving a British Naval Officer some untimely bad news gave the festival goers great reason to choose her as the winner. Recently Duffield joined the cast of WWII short film Blood Miracles, an inspiring heartfelt story about the women warriors of WWII, directed by award winning director Jazz Virk and his production team Film Division.[14] Director Virk said "I had been looking and waiting for the right film project to work with Jadey, so when I was writing our WWII film, I wrote the main, strong, and emotionally unstable lead character just for her. I even named the main character Jade. We met on set for the first time and the rest is history. We'll be working together from now on". Blood Miracles is due to be released later this year.
