Jakub Władysław Jarosz (born February 10, 1987) is a Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland men's national volleyball team and Polish club Transfer Bydgoszcz, a participant of the Olympic Games (London 2012), 2009 European Champion, a gold medalist of the 2012 World League, a silver medalist of the 2011 World Cup, a bronze medalist of the 2011 World League 2011 and 2011 European Championship, Polish Champion (2009).
Personal life
Jakub Jarosz was born in Nysa, Poland. His grandfather and father Maciej (silver medalist of European Championships three times) are a former volleyball players. His brother Marcin is also volleyball player. On May 12, 2012 he married Agnieszka (née Trzcińska). On August 26, 2013 was born their first child, son named Kacper.

Career
National team
In 2009 Poland men's national volleyball team, including Jarosz, won a title of the European Champion.[1] On September 14, 2009 he was awarded Knight's Cross of Polonia Restituta.[2] The Order was conferred on the following day by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk. He won with Polish team three medals in 2011 - silver at World Cup[3] and two bronzes at World League[4] and European Championship.[5] He is a gold medalist of World League 2012 in Sofia, Bulgary.[6][7]
