He had one son, Elijah Jaymes.[2]

From 1992–1995, Jeff Lewis was a quarterback for the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks completing 785 of 1,315 passes for 9,639 yards and 67 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Northern Arizona Hall of Fame in 2003.[3]
