John Hill (bishop)
The Rt Rev John Charles Hill was the inaugural Suffragan Bishop of Hulme from 1924 until 1930.
He was born on 22 May 1862 [1] and educated at Harrow and Trinity College, Cambridge.[2] After curacies in Kensington [3] and Rotherham he was Rector of Halesowen [4] then Rural Dean of Bury [5] before his elevation to the Episcopate.[6] He died on 29 March 1943.[7]
