John Madden is a former Irish sportsman who played hurling for the Tipperary senior hurling team and for his local club Lorrha-Dorrha in the late 1980s and early 1990s.[1] Madden was an unused substitute in the 1989 and 1991 All Ireland hurling championship wins.[2][3]
In November 2015, Madden was named as a selector for the Tipperary senior hurling team under new manager Michael Ryan.[4][5]
