John Thomson (banker)

Sir John Thomson (1908–1998) was an English banker. He served as the Chairman of Barclays Bank from 1962 to 1973.

Early life

John Thomson was born in 1908.[1] He was educated at Winchester College.[1] He graduated from the University of Oxford.[1]

Career

He served as the Chairman of Barclays Bank from 1962 to 1973.[1]

Death

He died in 1998.[1]
