Jon Burton

Jon Burton (born 1969) is a British video game designer and executive. He is the founder of development studio Traveller's Tales and its parent company TT Games.

Burton founded Traveller's Tales in 1989. He worked as a designer on Puggsy and the Lego Star Wars series.[1] He has received three British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards. Burton was born in Winchester, Hampshire in 1969.

Biography

Burton was educated at Scarisbrick Hall School and King George V College in Southport. He has a degree in Computer Science from Liverpool Polytech. He has been contracted to work with Walt Disney and Warner Bros., producing young children's computer games.

He wrote the original story for, and produced and directed Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Super Heroes Unite.

In 2014, he is the co-executive producer for Warner Bros. 2014 film The Lego Movie.
