José Pellicer Gandía

José Pellicer Gandía (27 April 1912 – 8 June 1942) was a Spanish anarchist, politician and revolutionary primarily known for being the founder of the Iron Column during the 1936 Spanish Revolution. He is often nicknamed the "Durruti Valencia".

Death

José Pellicer was executed on 8 June 1942, shot for charges of murdering the brother of an officer in the Francoist army.[1]
