José Vidal (December 15, 1896 – July 3, 1974) was an Uruguayan football player who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics and in the 1924 South American Championship. He played as central midfielder
Vidal was a player of Belgrano Montevideo most of his club career. From 4 November 1923 to 9 June 1924 he capped in 7 games of La Celeste in which he scored 1 goal. Also, he was a part of Uruguayan team at 1922 South American Championship and 1924 South American Championship, but he didn't play during these tournaments.
He was a member of the Uruguayan team, which won the gold medal in the football tournament of 1924 Summer Olympic games.
