Joseph A. Doorley, Jr. (born October 12, 1930) is an American former politician who served as mayor of Providence, Rhode Island from 1965 to 1975. Prior to his election, Doorley previously served on the Providence City Council since 1962. At the time of his election, he was the youngest mayor in the city's history.[1][2] He is a lawyer by profession.[3]
