KESC Society

KESC Society or KESC Cooperative Housing Society (Urdu: کے ای ایس سی سوسائٹی) is one of the developed residential neighbourhoods of Gulshan Town falling under Malir Cantonment remits in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.[1]

KESC Society is located near Safoora Chowrangi on the University Road, and is bounded by Saadi Road and Khizar Avenue. Being near the Safoora Chowrangi the society is well contacted with rest of the city. It is easily accessible from Malir Cantonment, Karachi Airport, Super Highway, Karachi University, Gulistan e Jauhar, Scheme No. 33, and other areas.

The residential categories are of 600 sq. yards, 400 sq. yards and 200 sq. yards while commercial plots are few and only in 80 sq. yards category. There are two mosques, three parks and a community center. All utilities including Electricity (Permanent KE connection with meters), Water, Gas (with meters), Cable TV and Internet facility is available to the residents. A boundary wall surrounds the society, where gates are guarded by effective security.

A sound governance system exists where society matters are overseen by residents committee headed by President, supported by General Secretary, who regularly visits community center.
