KZDC (1250 AM, "ESPN San Antonio") is a radio station broadcasting a sports format with programming from ESPN Radio. Licensed to San Antonio, Texas, USA, the station serves the San Antonio area. The station is currently licensed to Alpha Media Licensee, LLC.[1] Its studios are located in Northeast San Antonio, and the day transmitter site is just off Highway 281 South outside I-410. The station also uses a separate nighttime site which is co-located with sister station KTSA along Eisenhauer Road in northeast San Antonio.
History
The station was assigned the call letters KHBL on March 1, 1994. On November 14, 1994, the station changed its call sign to KZEP then on April 1, 1995 to the current KZDC.[2]
