Kallakurichi (State Assembly Constituency)
Kallakurichi is a state assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu. It was in existence from 1951 to1971 state elections. It was converted into Chinna Salem constituency (Chinnasalem - A rice mill hub of Tamil Nadu) in 1977 election. It came into existence again for 2011 election following the reorganisation of constituencies in 2009.[1]

Kallakurichi (SC) constituency is newly formed after constituency delimitations 2009.[2] It is included in the Kallakurichi Lok Sabha constituency.
