Ken Yackel

Kenneth James Yackel (b. March 5, 1930 in Saint Paul, Minnesota - d. July 12, 1991) was an American ice hockey player. Yackel was a member of the American 1952 Winter Olympics team. He briefly played professionally in the National Hockey League, appearing in six games with the Boston Bruins in 1959, becoming only the second American-developed player to appear in the NHL during the 1950s. Yackel was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 1986.
