Kenny Browne (born 7 August 1986) is an Irish football defender who plays for Cork City.
He moved from his home town club to newly promoted Sporting Fingal before the 2010 League of Ireland season.
Browne made his Republic of Ireland U23 debut in May 2010.[1]
In his one season at Fingal he made 2 appearances in the Europa League.[2][3]
Browne re-signed for Waterford United on 5 December 2010 for the 2011 season.[4]
Browne signed for St Patrick's Athletic for the 2012 season where he will play under former boss Liam Buckley. The Waterford man started the season off in scintillating form, winning a huge amount of headers, being very comfortable on the ball and helping keep three clean sheets with only two goals conceded in the first five games. Browne a lovable figure around the Inchicore area due to the recent exploits with St. Patricks Athletic is also a big hit at the local kebab shop. The owner of the " Jamal 5 in 1 " has advised that he needs to stock up on extra supplies since "fletch" moved to Dublin 8
On the 3rd November 2015, Browne announced via Twitter that he would be leaving St Patrick's Athletic after spending four years at the club. Subsequently on the 19th November, Cork City announced that Browne had signed for the upcoming 2016 season.[5]
