Kereshteh (Persian: کرشته), is a city in the Central District of Shahriar County, Tehran Province, Iran. As of the 2006 census, its population was 20,000.[1]
Kereshteh is beside the main road to Tehran. The Hadi Shrine (the descendants of Imam Hasan) and a memorial of martyrs is there.
Economy
The main business of the area is agriculture, and there are many mining companies are established in the northern part of the district.
