Khatra subdivision is a subdivision of the Bankura district in the state of West Bengal, India. It consists of eight community development blocs: Indpur, Khatra, Hirbandh, Raipur, Sarenga, Ranibandh, Simlapal and Taldangra. The eight blocks contain 59 gram panchayats. The subdivision has its headquarters at Khatra.

The subdivision contains rural areas of 59 gram panchayats under eight community development blocs: Indpur, Khatra, Hirbandh, Raipur, Sarenga, Ranibandh, Simlapal and Taldangra.[1]
Blocks
Indpur block
Indpur block consists of rural areas with seven gram panchayats, viz. Brahmandiha, Gaurbazar, Indpur, Veduasol, Brojarajpur, Hatgram and Raghunathpur.[1] Indpur police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Indpur.[3]
Khatra block
Khatra block consists of rural areas with seven gram panchayats, viz. Baidyanathpur, Dhanarah, Khatra Gram–I, Supur, Dahala, Gorabari and Khatra Gram–II.[1] Khatra police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Khatra.[3]
Hirbandh block
Hirbandh block consists of rural areas with five gram panchayats, viz. Baharamuri, Hirbandh, Moshiara, Gopalpur and Maliyan.[1] Hirbandh police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Hirbandh.[3]
Raipur block
Raipur block consists of rural areas with ten gram panchayats, viz. Dhanarah, Fulkusma, Motgoda, Sonagara, Dheko, Melera, Raipur, Dundar, Mondalkuli and Shyamsundarpur.[1] Raipur police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Gar Raipur.[3]
Sarenga block
Sarenga block consists of rural areas with six gram panchayats, viz. Bikrampur, Gargarla, Neturpur, Chiltor, Goalbari and Sarenga.[1] Sarenga police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Sarenga.[3]
Ranibandh block
Ranibandh block consists of rural areas with eight gram panchayats, viz. Ambikanagar, Haludkanali, Rajakata, Rautora, Barikul, Puddi, Ranibandh and Rudra.[1] Ranibandh police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Ranibandh.[3]
Simlapal block
Simlapal block consists of rural areas with seven gram panchayats, viz. Bikrampur, Lakshmisagar, Mondalgram, Simlapal, Dubrajpur, Machatora and Parswala.[1] Simlapal police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Simlapal.[3]
Taldangra block
Taldangra block consists of rural areas with nine gram panchayats, viz. Amdangra, Harmasra, Saltora, Bibarda, Khalgram, Satmauli, Fulmati, Panchmura and Taldangra.[1] Taldangra police station serves this block.[2] Headquarters of this block is in Taldangra.[3]
Legislative segments
As per order of the Delimitation Commission in respect of the delimitation of constituencies in West Bengal:[4]
- The three blocks of Ranibandh, Hirbandh and Khatra will form the area under the Ranibandh assembly constituency of West Bengal.
- The Raipur block and the Sarenga block will define the area under the Raipur assembly constituency.
- The gram panchayats of Veduasol, Brahmandiha, Hatgram, Indpur and Raghunathpur under the Indpur block will be part of the area under the Chhatna assembly constituency.
- The other two gram panchayats under the Indpur block, the Simplipal block and the gram panchayats of Bibarda, Fulmati, Harmasra, Khalgram, Panchmura and Taldangra under the Taldangra block will together form the Taldangra assembly constituency.
- The other three gram panchayats under the Taldangra block will be part of the domain of the Bankura assembly constituency.
- The constituencies of Ranibandh and Raipur will be reserved for Scheduled tribes (ST) candidates.
- All the five constituencies will be assembly segments of the Bankura (Lok Sabha constituency).
