Kinwa Urqu (Quechua kinwa quinoa, urqu mountain,[2] "quinoa mountain", hispanicized spelling Quenuaorco) is a mountain in the northwestern part of the Willkapampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 4,900 metres (16,076 ft) high. It is situated in the Cusco Region, La Convención Province, Vilcabamba District. Kinwa Urqu lies northeast of Chuqisapra and the P'anta group, and northwest of Chuqitakarpu. The nearest town is Vilcabamba northeast of the mountain.[1]
