Kinwaqucha or Kinwa Qucha (Quechua kinwa quinoa, qucha lake,[2] "quinoa lake", hispanicized spelling Ccuenhua Cocha, Cuenhuacocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Ayacucho Region, Huanca Sancos Province, Sacsamarca District.[3] Kinwaqucha lies northeast of the village Kinwakhuchu / Kinwawayq'u (Ccuenhuacucho / Cenhuahuaycco) and the small lake Pukaqucha (Pucacocha).
The little river Kinwawayq'u (Ccuenhuaycco), meaning "quinoa stream", originates near the lake. Its waters flow to the river Q'illumayu (Churmi).
