Kiyoshi Ueda (上田 清司 Ueda Kiyoshi, born May 15, 1948) is a Japanese politician and the governor of Saitama Prefecture in Japan, first elected in 2003. A native of Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture and graduate of Hosei University, he had served in the House of Representatives since 1993 before elected governor.
He was also a part-time lecturer of the College of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism located in Kodaira, Tokyo,
