Thammanoon Niyomtrong (Thai: ธรรมนูญ นิยมตรง), born 20 September 1990 in Thailand), also known as Knockout CP Freshmart and Newlukrak Pagonponsurin, is a Thai professional Minimumweight boxer and Muay Thai fighter. He is the current interim WBA Minimumweight champion.

Muay Thai career

Taking the ring name Newlukrak Pagonponsurin, he won the titles at Rajadmnern, Lumpini and the Thai national championships.[1]

Professional boxing career

Sponsored by Thai convenience store chain CP Freshmart,[2] he won the vacant WBC Youth World Minimumweight title in his professional debut on June 22, 2012, defeating Marzon Cabilla by a sixth-round technical decision.[3] He successfully made seven consecutive title defenses before vacating the title.

Freshmart then defeated Carlos Buitrago by a twelfth-round unanimous decision to win the vacant interim WBA Minimumweight title on October 1, 2014. After defending his title for a third time, the WBA ordered a match-up between Freshmart and WBA world minimumweight champion Byron Rojas on March 23, 2016.[4]
