Korsakovsky District (Russian: Корса́ковский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Oryol Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 690.9 square kilometers (266.8 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Korsakovo.[1] Population: 4,798 (2010 Census);[3] 5,586(2002 Census).[6] The population of Korsakovo accounts for 30.3% of the district's total population.[3]
