Kosa silk
Kosa silk is a type of silk made from a thread produced by a worm similar to the silk worm. It is primarily produced in central India in the Chhattisgarh region. It was initially produced by koshti/koshta people in madhya pradesh . Kosa silk is known for its comfort and is popular in other countries. Bilaspur, Raigarh, Champa of Chhattisgarh are known for kosa silk and its production by Dewangan community.
