Križate (pronounced [kɾiˈʒaːtɛ]) is a settlement east of Peče in the Municipality of Moravče in central Slovenia. Traditionally the area was part of Upper Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Central Slovenia Statistical Region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Michael and belongs to the Parish of Peče. It was a Gothic building that was largely rebuilt in the 18th century with only the sanctuary and the lower level of the belfry preserved from the original church.[3]
