Krunoslav Simon
Krunoslav "Kruno" Simon (born June 24, 1985) is a Croatian professional basketball player who plays for EA7 Emporio Armani Milano of the Italian Serie A. He also represents the Croatian national basketball team internationally.
Professional career
After spending few youth years in KK Maksimir and KK Zrinjevac, Simon joined KK Zagreb in 1998 and has been playing there until 2012, when he signed for Unicaja Málaga of the Spanish League. On June 25, 2013, Simon signed two-year deal with Lokomotiv Kuban.[1]
On July 22, 2015, Simon signed a one-year contract with the Italian club EA7 Emporio Armani Milano.[2]
International career
Simon debuted for the senior Coatian national basketball team at the 2011 EuroBasket. The most recently, he represented Croatia at the 2015 EuroBasket,[3] where they were eliminated in the eighth finals by Czech Republic.[4] He was arguably the best player of the team, averaging 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists over 6 tournament games, while shooting 54.2% from the field.[5]
