Kruszyna [kruˈʂɨna] (German Krussen) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kobylnica, within Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south of Kobylnica, 13 km (8 mi) south of Słupsk, and 105 km (65 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles. For the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
