Kruthika Jayakumar is an Indian film actress and classical dancer.
Personal life
Kruthika Jayakumar was born on 30 April to Jayakumar B R and Padmini Jayakumar in Bangalore, Karnataka. She completed her secondary education at Clarence High School, Bangalore. She has a PUC from CMR National PU College, Bangalore. She is currently pursuing Journalism at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
Career
Kruthika Jayakumar started practising Bharatanatyam from her age seven. She is currently training under guru Sri Mithun Shyam in Bangalore. While performing at a show in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Malayalam film director Balu Kiriyath spotted her and convinced her to foray into cinema. She later auditioned for the role of Venkatesh's daughter [1] in Drushyam, a Telugu remake of Malayalam movie Drishyam. She was selected for the role and received media [2] praising for her acting in that film. She is currently working in both Kannada and Telugu movies.
