Kuźnica Głogowska [kuʑˈnit͡sa ɡwɔˈɡɔfska] (German: Hammer) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sława, within Wschowa County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Sława, 21 km (13 mi) west of Wschowa, and 37 km (23 mi) east of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. After World War II and the subsequent border shift, the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
