Kuhestan Rural District (Persian: دهستان كوهستان) is a rural district (dehestan) in Qaleh Chay District, Ajab Shir County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census, its population was 9,810, in 2,211 families.[2] The rural district has 8 villages.
