Kunkle, Ohio

Kunkle is a census-designated place in southeastern Madison Township, Williams County, Ohio, United States.[1] It is located approximately 60 miles (97 km) west of Toledo.[2]

Although it is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 43531.[3] It is located along Williams County Road 17, a north-south highway.[4]

Kunkle was not officially platted.[5] A post office called Kunkle has been in operation since 1880.[6]

Kunkle is mentioned in the Stephen King novel The Stand as a camping location for Redman and company on their way to Nebraska.[7]
