Kuriachira, from all practical aspects, is the intellectual capital of Thrissur. This town is conveniently located within 2 km away from Swaraj Round in the south direction. It lies beside the Thalore bypass road. Kuriachira is 25th division of Thrissur Municipal Corporation. It's an important residential area of Thrissur city of Kerala state of India. Nowadays, Kuriachira has become a posh residential area in Thrissur city.
