LÉ William Butler Yeats (P63) is a Samuel Beckett-class offshore patrol vessel (OPV) which, as of March 2016, is under construction for the Irish Naval Service.[4] Due to be named for poet W. B. Yeats, the ship is the last in a series of three vessels designed by Vard Marine and built by Babcock Marine Appledore.[1][5][6] The ship was floated out of the shipyard in March 2016,[4] and due for completion and delivery before the end of 2016.[3]
