Law regarding same-sex sexual activity
Same-sex sexual activities was legalised in Akrotiri and Dhekelia in 2000. In 2003, the age of consent was equalised for same-sex sexual activities.[1]
Discrimination protections
The territory prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation in employment since 1 March 2013.[2] Since 1 February 2016, the local Criminal Code criminalises incitement to violence on the ground of sexual orientation.[3]
