Laćarak (Serbian Cyrillic: Лаћарак, pronounced [ˈlât͜ɕarak]) is a suburb of town of Sremska Mitrovica in Serbia. It is situated in the Sremska Mitrovica municipality, in the Srem District, Vojvodina province. The settlement has a Serb ethnic majority and its population numbering 10,893 people (2002 census).
Name
In Serbian, the village is known as Laćarak (Лаћарак), in Croatian as Laćarak, and in Hungarian as Latyarak.
