La Doña, is an upcoming American telenovela produced by Telemundo. It is based on the Venezuelan novel Doña Bárbara created by Rómulo Gallegos. It will be starring by Aracely Arámbula.[1][2]
Production
The previous title was the telenovela "Dona Bárbara", but due to changes its title changed to "La Doña",[3] because the plot of the story would be very different from the 2008 version and would be a more modern version today.[3]
